31st Annual Conference
Towards the Future of Orthodox Liturgical Chant: Pathways in Practical Application
With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill, Archbishop of San Francisco and Western America, the 31st Annual Russian Orthodox Musicians’ Conference will be held from October 2–6 at Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in Los Angeles, California. Lodging for the conference is arranged at Four Points by Sheraton Los Angeles Westside and is included in the registration fee. All lectures, rehearsals and meals are also included and will be at the hotel until Saturday afternoon. Friday night dinner is on your own – a great opportunity to explore local dining options. Dinner on Saturday after Vigil and Sunday after Liturgy will be in the church hall. For those staying at the hotel, transportation to and from church on Saturday and Sunday is included in the registration fee.

Saturday, October 5
- 8:00am – Breakfast, weekend registration, and announcements
- Sessions to be announced.
- 5:00pm – All-Night Vigil
- 8:00pm – Dinner
Sunday, October 6
- 7:30am – Check-out from hotel.
- 8:15 Departure to church.
- 9:00 – Greeting of the Bishop, Hours and Hierarchal Divine Liturgy
- 12:00 – Conference photo at church, and banquet.
During the conference there will also be discussion groups on relevant topics, including at meals and free time – listen for announcements!
Fasting rules observed Wednesday and Friday.
